In the name of NYFW I decided to hijack 'Wedding Wednesday' and share one of my most recent outfits. After escaping the blizzard on one of the last flights out of NYC on Friday, I was able to make it back to Chicago for a weekend in the suburbs and an amazing surprise 30th birthday party for my fiance. He was absolutely shocked and these pics were all part of the plan (or days distractions).

While four inch heels were certainly not weather appropriate, they were most definitely party necessary. I've also been living in these camo pants as of late and they helped me feel a little fiercer this weekend as I faced the storm.
