Wedding Wednesday: Save the Date Reveal!

I promised to share the true process of wedding planning and as many final decisions with you as possible so today, I'm excited to share with you our final Save the Date card! As I mentioned here, we wanted to send out something light-hearted and fun to our guests in order to get them excited and set the tone for the big event. Admittedly, I had my heart set on a picture serving as more of the focal point, but since our wedding photographers are based out of Nashville, TN we opted to not have professional engagement photos taken. After much deliberation and a few stressful evenings, we decided to work with some of the pictures we already had (we've accumulated a lot in the 10+ years we've known eachother!) to share our message and make the card feel a bit more homespun and original.

 I've always been a huge fan of Minted and without a doubt, they we're the perfect resource to help create our cards. Reliable and hands-on, I worked with a tech consultant to turn what I thought was my Save-the-Date-Plan-B into a personal treasure and what I consider now to be our very own Plan A.

Now we can only hope our guests are as excited to celebrate with us as we are with them... can't wait!
