Party Treats

By Lauren
Planning a gathering with friends or family at home can be lots of fun, but also a ton of work. After setting the table, prepping a bar, making or ordering :) dinner, it can get quite exhausting, and the party hasn't even started yet. Because of this, sometimes I overlook dessert, which is never a good thing because ending the night on a sweet note is always the best way to send guests home at night. So I found this super easy and cute winter treat that was a big hit with my guests this past weekend and a pleasure to make.

Simply get your favorite Oreo-style cookie, melt white chocolate in a bowl and crush up some candy canes. Then dip one half of the cookie in the melted chocolate and sprinkle the candy cane crumble on top. It's that simple!

Now eat and enjoy... do you have any easy dessert recipes for us?

  5. Yum! This also works great with rice krispie treats instead of Oreos. You can never go wrong when dipping dessert into chocolate :)
