Now, I'll admit, I'm definitely a little bit neighborhood biased since The Butterfly is just a few blocks away from my own apartment, but the Altamarea Group's newest restaurant has got the whole city buzzing. As an homage to the chef's midwestern upbringing, The Butterfly is presented as a classic Wisconsin supper-club that boasts one of the city's best Old Fashioned and signature Grasshopper cocktails. And we haven't even gotten to the food yet!
If my experience at Marea is any indication, I can guarantee that Michael White and his team will not disappoint with his latest downtown eatery. Last week we were invited to the restaurant's pre-opening fete and I'm excited to share the official pictures with you today.
