Wedding Wednesday: Tablescapes

The next month is going to be pretty exciting for me as a few more major decisions will be crossed off our wedding checklist. We'll be having our cake testing, menu tasting, invitation hand-off to the calligrapher and I'll be making the final decisions on our place settings and tablescapes. For me, this one is pretty major... even a close contender to the dress! I think the tablescape decor can really set the tone for your wedding and is a great opportunity to showcase your personal style and mood. 

Really, the choices are endless, but I've certainly had fun researching all my options. Here are a few looks that have caught my eye. 

I love the use of color in the glassware and chairs; a unique way to add a pop of color other than in your flowers and plates.

The simplicity of white speaks for itself and provides a fresh, clean aesthetic. 

Consistent rimmed edges adds formality and elegance. 

Mixing and matching chargers, plates and silverware feels inviting and fun for party goers.

Playing with shapes and color is an option that should never be ignored. 

For a summer wedding, it's tempting to play with color but I'm leaning towards neutrals for now.
