It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Joy Gryson (see here and here), but this week we had the amazing opportunity to visit her showroom and meet the designer herself. We instantly bonded over our favorite NYC neighborhood and the inspiration behind her accessories design- IIIBeca- is one the unique lines to her name. The others, Gryson and Olivia Harris, can also be found in her charming Franklin St flagship boutique.
Here's a look at some of my favorites available for Spring.
I mean, really, how cute is she?!
I loved learning more about her most recently launched IIIBeca line of handbags priced under $200 with three percent of all wholesale proceeds go to three not-for-profit organizations that mean a great deal to Joy and her family: Memorial Sloan-Kettering, Family Focus Adoption Services and the 9/11 Memorial Foundation.
As if the supple leathers, bright colored vachetta and funky hardware details weren't enough to have me swooning, you gotta love a New Yorker who gives back.
So inspiring.
