One of my Faves

By Lauren

I have a new blow dryer, the T3 Featherweight from Sephora, and I'm obsessed. It dries my hair faster than any blow dryer I've ever had and leaves it ten times shinier. My hairdresser at Sally Hershberger Salon recommended it to me and I'm hooked. Sometimes I think my hair gets healthier from using my new little friend.

If you're in the market for a new one, you must try this powerful guy!

Coachella Cuties

By Lauren

As we all know by now, Coachella music festival took place last week in California. Of course it's about the music, but it's also all about the hippie-chic trends that surface during the festivities. Here we have some of Coachella's cutest couples dressing the part of perfectly coordinated concert go-ers.

Which couple do you think has the best style?

Post-Wedding Wednesdays - The Decor

By Lauren

Last week I showed you my wedding dress and this week it's all about the decor of the room. With the help of Ed Libby and his team, we turned Cipriani into a literal fairy tale wedding. The tables had a mixture of silvers and golds while the flowers were cream with pops of blush colored roses. Ed even created 4 trees with orchids and hanging candles to complete the look of a truly enchanted evening.

No matter where you have your wedding or what type of event you are planning, you can always create a mixture of metallics with the off-white flowers even on your own dining room table!

What an amazing night, I wish we could do it all again!

Nailed It!

By Julie

Funky nails are not only a major trend this season, but they're also major fun. I'm usually a A Oui Bit of Red or an Adore-a-Ball girl myself, but this season I'm itching to try something a bit cooler and edgy. Rumor has it that Marie Nails in Soho is the ultimate spot in Manhattan for nail art. Have you guys tried it??

80s Deco

Cooling Ombre

Feisty Lace

Glamorous Glitter

Feminine Charm

Charged Up Cheetah

I mean, really, could that little 'Feminine Charm' look be any cuter?? I think not. In the meantime, I think I'll be going for the 'Glamourous Glitter'-- a nice in-between and a coat of glitter is always a fun way to disguise those annoying little chips!

What colors are you guys making a splash with this spring?

Birds of a Feather

By Julie

I was first introduced to this trend here and now I'm loving all the birdy details on tops and bottoms alike. I also can't get enough of my zodiac necklace that the team at Maya Brenner sent me. I'm the true definition of a Virgo (independent, conscientious, quick-witted, and a bit neurotic), but with all the good and the bad, I feel like I'm wearing my heart on my sleeve with this necklace and what you see is certainly what you get! You too have a chance to get your own by entering Maya Brenner's 'What's Your Sign?' Facebook contest.

Top: Marc by Marc Jacobs, Vest: JCrew, Jeans: JBrand, Shoes: Ralph Lauren, Necklace: C/O Maya Brenner, Bag: C/O TJMaxx

And if you don't already know, Elle.com has the world's best horoscopes and astrology readings. There's hardly a day that goes by that I don't check it out (along with all my fav blogs!). It's seriously addicting and eerily accurate.

What's in your forecast this Monday??

Spring in my Step

By Julie

I've been on the hunt for a new pair of espadrilles as of late, but feel adamant that it's really not worth a major splurge. In my opinion, seasonal sandals and wedges are meant to be somewhat 'used and abused', right? Whether you're running around the city or cramming them in your bag for a weekend away, it seems silly to spend too much on a pair that you're just praying will last you through Labor Day. So, I've done my due-diligence and rounded up my fav pairs under $100.

I could easily make an argument for each one, but can you guess which pair is under $30 and happens to be my fav??

Post - Wedding Wednesdays : THE DRESS

By Lauren,

Wedding Wednesdays is back! And what better way to bring it back than with the big reveal...MY DRESS. After only 1 week of wedding dress shopping, I found my way to the mecca of all couture bridal gowns, Marc Ingram

I had always wanted a big dress but I ended up falling in love with a tight Monique Lhuillier Platinum Collection dress. So, of course, Marc being the gown genius he is, disappeared into the back room and came out with this beautiful fuller skirt made of raw tulle that just slipped over the existing dress, pulled together with a belt.

So I wore it big for the ceremony and tight for the party! Bigger is better, but not all night!

The dress change!

and the big reveal!

So there you have it, stay tuned for next Wednesday to see more pictures from Christian Oth Studios

Short Suit

By Lauren

Last week we got invited to the Walter showroom and we were like 2 kids in a clothing filled candy shop. I found this amazing short suit with a tuxedo lapel from the W118 by Walter Baker line that I was dying to try on for all of you. Paired with a casual tee shirt this trend can be worn to work or out at night. It's a must have for sure!

Tank: H&M, Shoes: Marni, Necklace: Baublebar

Are you into the short suit trend for summer?

Night Out at Walden

By Julie

On Wednesday I shared my outfit from my night out in Brooklyn (pathetic how I make it sound like a major journey or accomplishment!), but today I want to talk about the amazing food. I was invited to Walden for a Planned Parenthood Benefit Dinner hosted by resident-Brooklynite, Maggie Gyllenhaal. Maggie was adorable and is seriously ready to pop... she's most definitely on baby watch!

Here are a few highlights from the delicious 5-course tasting menu and wine pairing.

Festive condoms and champagne-- a dangerous combo ; )

Day-to-Night

By Julie

It's not so easy to find an outfit that you feel both comfortable and fashionable enough in to seamlessly take you from day-to-night. Earlier this week I went from a sassy day at the office straight to Williamsburg for a dinner and to catch up with friends. These edgy, yet functional pieces made it all possible. Even better, it's warm enough to ditch the tights!

Skirt: T by Alexander Wang, Shirt: T by Alexander Wang, Booties: Ralph Lauren, Jacket: TopShop, Bag: Morgan Parish, Ring: C/O Plukka, Necklace: Marie-Laure Chamorel from Otte
What's your trick for going from work to play?? Come on, I know you have one.
