XOXO, GG...

By Julie

I will admit that I haven't been a totally dedicated fan over the past 6 years. I've ducked in and out, but there was no way I was missing the last night's finale of Gossip Girl. Whether it's Blair Waldorf's synonymous headbands and preppy peplums or Serena's bohemian chic style, there's no denying the two Upper East Siders influence on young women's fashion over the course of the series. So much so that girls would coin themselves 'a Blair' or 'a Serena'.

So tell me, which one are you??

Personality aside, I'd consider myself more of a Blair.

But I'll take either of their wardrobes.

XOXO

  1. I'm sad its over. Even though it was horrible. I need another show with amazing clothes like this.

  2. I was never a fan of the show, but the wardrobe was always unreal. Can't believe it started 6 years ago!

  3. I'm sad it's over too. I didn't get to tune in last night... really looking forward to catching up on my train ride home this weekend!

I'm more of a Blair, I think... (despite my wavy blonde hair, ha!)

  4. The wardrobe styling on Gossip Girl is incredible. I'll admit, I have not kept up with GG these past few seasons, but I have always checked up on the wardrobing on websites & blogs. It has definitely been an influential part of my life & almost every girl I know. I am not quite sure who i resonate with most.. I find that I am a big mix of both Serena & Blair. You can't go wrong with either though..

  6. I have to be honest..I stopped watching a season or two ago...whenever Blair married that lame prince and got preggers. I feel like I mourned GG before it even ended. Anyway, I will miss the clothes, the music and the fun art. They always had cool art in their cool apartments. xoxo

  7. No shame, definitely teared up watching the last episode! Can't believe it's over, it's the end of an era. Now with Sex and the City and Gossip Girl being over, we need a new fashiony show!

  9. I was so sad to see GG end, but what a perfect way to go. I think I'm more of a blair, but maybe serena every now and then? hybrid of sorts. RIP GG
