Blogging has opened up an amazing world of new friends, daily inspiration and a community of insanely talented, young designers that Lauren and I hardly knew existed! It's way too easy to get caught up in the conveniences of the brands and designers that you already know and trust, isn't it?! But today, I hope to introduce you to someone incredibly fresh and new-- April Reno. 

Get familiar, people! 

April Reno is a fashion-forward jewelry designer who truly reinvents timeless style. Originally an East Coast girl, April now runs her business out of San Francisco; her unique designs capture both the upbeat, sophisticated spirit of New York as well as the bohemian, casual feel of Northern California. 

April uses mixed metals, including rhodium, oxidized silver, gold and gunmetal, Swarovski crystals, cut glass, and semi- precious stones to combine statement style with a classic approach.

The daughter of antique dealers, April's historic appreciation and vintage tastes shine through on every piece she produces. April's work is a material manifestation of her creative vision and bold character.

With three different Spring 11 Collections-- Muse, Epic and Renyae- there is a piece to compliment every girl's tastes. I personally can't live without my long, gold necklaces and April's line  has the perfect additions to my wardrobe.
